Mother/Daughter Princess Tea Party

I know what you are thinking, I don't have daughters. So... I borrowed a couple of my nieces to bring to this event and we had a lot of fun. We made crafts, decorated cookies and of course drank tea.

I have been taking Isaac up to the Lego store at the Mall of America every so often for their Lego Club classes. He has had a lot of fun with them. One of the times we were up there several months ago we were able to help build a mural made of of little 1x1 Lego pieces for their new store. In January, we were able to see the finished mural.

Christmas

I did not forget about Christmas... we had many wonderful celebrations with family and enjoyed a bit of a break from our regular routine.

Happy Halloween!

When asked what he was going to be for Halloween Isaac responded "death". He got many strange looks. Then with a little prompting he would tell them that he was going to be the Grim Reaper. Followed by more strange looks. :)

He was really excited for Halloween this year and is very sad that it is over. He couldn't understand why I didn't want to decorate our yard full of gruesome things.

5th grade

Here it is almost the end of the first quarter of school and I am just posting pictures from the first day...

Isaac has a great teacher this year and has been enjoying school. He has a lot more homework this year with some big projects to work on. He really likes being in class with his best and first friend Aidan.
