I Have a New Job

Before our trip up north, I had a job interview. It isn't a teaching job, but I figured maybe it was time for a break from subbing. The interview was unusual, because I had to format a flier and submit it ahead of time and I also had to take a grammar test the day of the interview. While we were at the cabin, I was offered the job and I took it. I am now the new Community and Family Education Programs Assistant. I will be working in the Community and Family Education office at the St. Peter Community Center. I will be working 20 hours a week for 45 weeks a year. The big surprise was that they wanted me to start on July 1st! So, I have been scrambling to find babysitters for Isaac. I'm not exactly sure what I will be doing yet, but I know I will have to do some formatting on the computer and other things in the office. I am hoping to teach some community education classes, because otherwise I would really miss working with kids.

**update** I found 2 babysitters to cover all of the days I work!
